Veteran's Health
You've served your country honorably, and we want to ensure you have the opportunity to live the best post-military life possible. Veteran's health has been historically mismanaged, and as we've seen the return of the GWOT veteran population, historic numbers of service members are being diagnosed with TBI, depression and anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, and chemical exposures all which play a vital role on your physiological, sexual and psychological health. It's no secret that TBI, chronic stress and chemical exposure WILL all have a negative impact on your body and specifically your hormones. There is a direct link between head trauma, both severe and mild, chemical exposure and chronic stress with low testosterone. Unfortunately, the symptoms associated with low testosterone are often times misinterpreted by medical providers as depression/anxiety, and/or post traumatic stress.

The VA has historically medicated veterans with anti-depressant and/or anti-anxiety medications. While we believe these medications have their place, they are undeniably over-prescribed. If you've left the military service and have struggled to find yourself, struggled to find motivation and drive, or are just feeling down, we encourage you to have your blood levels checked as soon as possible, and certainly prior to starting any prescription medications.

Unfortunately, despite the mountain of evidence, the VA is still very resistant to testing for hormone deficiencies, and all but refuses to treat them. They also do not pay for therapy, but because of this we offer discounted rates on labs, visits and medications to all active-duty, honorably discharged, and retired veterans.
