1. What is performance medicine?

Performance medicine is designed to take the best science available, to optimize every aspect of your life. We focus on hormone, electrolyte, body mass and sexual health optimization to ensure our patients are feeling and performing their very best.
2. What is concierge medicine?

Like having an attorney on retainer, that you can call anytime, concierge Medicine is simply a medical model where you have access to your private doctor, as if they work directly for you.
3. Where are concierge or in-person services available?

Concierge and in-person services are available throughout the Wasatch Front of Utah. Many telemedicine services are available nationwide.
4. Do you accept "Health Insurance?"

We do not accept health insurance for a variety of reasons, primarily insurance companies have little interest in actually keeping you healthy. Certain medications and diagnostics will be covered by insurance and you may submit them to your insurer for reimbursement.

5. How long does it take for lab results?

Each lab is different, but the average turn around time is 3-5 days from when your blood is drawn. Some labs take slightly longer, and many are back within 24 hours.
6. How long does it take to get a new or refilled prescription?

We ensure all refills and new prescriptions are available same day, or if after hours the following day. If you are having medications shipped to your house, we will provide contact information to the shipping pharmacy at the time of service.
7. Do I qualify for hormone replacement therapy?

We never utilize protocols. Your symptoms, overall health and lab values will guide you and your doctor to a treatment plan.
8. Why can't you prescribe me any medication I need?

We only prescribe our patients with medications they have medical need for. We also comply with all state and federal laws, and may not be able to provide certain medications, or certain quantities based on your place of residence.
9. I don't have a Primary Care Provider (PCP), can you be my primary care doctor?

We always recommend that patients maintain a relationship with a primary care doctor. While we will manage most of your medications, your labs, specialist referral, and your day to day needs, most insurance companies will require that you have a relationship with a PCP in order to cover those referrals. Through our network, we have the ability to accelerate your diagnostic imaging and wait times for specialists that your PCP does not have and we will work with them to ensure you are seen as soon as possible should the need arise.
9. How much does this cost?

We are certainly not the cheapest, but we believe investing in your health is the most important investment you'll make. Our concierge services cost $500/month or $5500. Our average Testosterone Replacement client spends an average of $300/month on labs, medications and supplies. 10. I'm dehydrated now, and interested in IV hydration, how do I schedule that?

Because you don't always know when you're going to need it, we aim to be widely available to all our clients at the location of their choosing. We are available 7 days a week, from 8AM to 6PM, we build our schedule daily, and we will do our best to accommodate you as rapidly as possible. If you know you're going to be competing, performing heavy endurance excercise or are going out drinking, you may schedule ahead of time for priority placement. We are available outside of normal business hours for an additional fee. We do support certain athletes in high demand sports, and are happy to be available to you at the place of your competition.
